ABOUT ME

Dia Alqalisi is a student from Frank McCourt High school. Dia is hard working student that completes his work with effort and time. Dia was born in Brooklyn, New York. Both of his parents were born in Yemen. Dia knows how to speak another language other than English. That language is Arabic. Dia also follows the path of Islam and also the rest of his family. Dia would like to go to a good college that can support my future of being a Doctor.(Favorite sports: Soccer and Basketball).

One of Dia’s favorite moments during my freshman year is trying out for the soccer team. Because it’s a really fun experience for him like meeting new people and and showing what he is capable of. Joining the soccer team is also challenging because its also a competition of who will join or not. But overall it was a very fun and exciting experience for him.

Dia has changed throughout the year. One change for Dia was completing all of his work on time and with effort. What Dia learned throughout this year was working hard could help one succeed in school and also life.

Junior year was a good year for Dia. It wasn't as hard as sophomore year "cough" ISM 10"cough". Junior year was a chance for Dia to start all over from sophomore year, his grades became much better. Intersession was the best part of Junior year, Dia got a chance to develop more skills such as coding and DNA bar-coding. Overall it was a very fun and exciting experience for him.
